Update: Looks like the capacity on this is 800 milliliters, down from the 1200 milliliters of the regular (non-electric) version.
Update: Hario is in the process of obtaining the necessary certifications for sale in the United States. We aren't sure how long this process will take, but we'll keep you updated.
According to Hario, it appears that the Electric Kettle will be offered in the United States sometime "Fall 2010-Winter 2011". Sorry about the wait, we are just as excited about it as you are!
Latest News: April is the goal we have heard from our US Hario supplier for when the electric Buono kettle will be in stock.
Any new info?
Unfortunately the electric buono is still in the process of getting UL approval. We'll continue to keep you posted.
