Overview
No one enjoys the dirty work of cleaning up after you pull that perfect shot, but Dreamfarm has attempted to make the process a little less mundane with their colorful and compact Grindenstein knockbox. This knock box includes a thick and durable rubber-covered steel knock bar and a compact design (4" tall) that helps clear up some counterspace by allowing the Grindenstein to fit on the drip tray of most home espresso machines.
The Details:
- Durable: The patented shock-absorbing design of the knock bar makes it impossible to break. The knock bar includes a solid steel core wrapped in a rubber sleeve that helps absorb both force and sound.
- Compact: The Grindenstein is 4" tall and 4" for the bar width. The small design was created to purposefully open up space on your counter and allow for storing it on the drip tray of most home espresso machines.
- Colorful: The Grindenstein comes in three colors: Charcoal, Fire Truck Red, and Steel Wool. (Choose your color by selecting "Click for Available Options" above.)

Dreamfarm is the manufacturer behind some unique, colorful, and practical kitchen accessories. Their Grindenstein knock box caught our eye, with it's small size, durable design, and colorful options. Dreambox hasn't quite reinvented the knockbox, but they've made it better and more attractive.

The Baratza Vario looks much like Baratza's other offerings (i.e., the Encore, Virtuoso, and Preciso) in regard to silhouette, footprint, and general design. Those who've used them extensively, however, know that there's far more than mere nomenclature that separates the Vario from its brethren. Practically speaking, it has shown to give a consistently uniform and desirable grind for the full grind spectrum, all the way from espresso to press pot, something no other non-commercial grinder currently out on the market can boast. It is a highly efficient machine, wasting very little in the way of coffee grounds, but it shines in its ability to produce excellent espresso, shot after shot after shot, a feature aided by the three timed dosing presets it allows the user to store and recall at the push of a button.
