Hey there, it's Ragan from Prima Coffee and today, we're going to talk about Fellow's Travel Mug series. We have the Carter Everywhere Mug and the Carter Move Mug. They're both very similar but have unique features that cater to specific needs. So over the course of this video, I'm going to compare these flasks with you, and hopefully, at the end, you'll know which one is best for you. So they're very similar in physical design, but they're also identical in the materials used to make them. They both have dual wall, vacuum insulated, stainless steel that works to keep the contents inside the mug at a consistent temperature whether that's hot or cold. And I found they both did a really great job of doing that. The Everywhere Mug does come out on top with this because it kept my coffee at 140 degrees for 6 hours while the Move only kept it for 3 hours. So being made of stainless steel, you're probably wondering, "Well, is that going to make my coffee taste like metal?" Well, Fellow really pulled out all the stops for this. They lined the inside with a ceramic coating that keeps any metallic or off-flavors from infusing your coffee. They also designed this to make your morning coffee a sensory experience. It has a wide mouth design that encourages you to appreciate the aroma of the coffee as you drink it and a thin lip design that makes it easy to sip on. I did find that the wide mouth design did make me appreciate the aroma of the coffee more. The thin lip design was easy to drink out of but it didn't contribute to the sensory experience at all. My favorite feature on both of these is the leak-proof lid. I am messy. I'm a little rough with my mugs. I have physically tossed these into my purse, my backpack, and my car seat and I haven't had any leaks, which is great because, you know, nothing's more infuriating than opening up your bag to find all the contents wet because your mug didn't do its job. And lastly, you will see that they're both very physically similar. The only difference is that the Everywhere comes in a 12 and 16-ounce size option and the Move comes in an 8, 12, and 16-size option. And they both come in a variety of colors. While we're on the topic of size, it's the diameter of these that really distinguish between the two of them. The Everywhere Mug is 85 millimeters in diameter, which makes it not compatible with cupholders, whereas the Move Mug is 77 millimeters in diameter and it makes it compatible with almost all standard cupholders. But what you lose on on-the-go compatibility with the Everywhere Mug, you do gain the ability to use more brewers. You can use the AeroPress to brew directly into this mug, where you can't do so with the Move. They are also both compatible with most pour-over drippers. What really sets the Move apart from the Everywhere is all of its on-the-go compatibility features. So not only will this sit in your car cupholder, once it's in the cupholder, you can take the lid off and it has a, you know, really fun, snap-in splash guard that will keep your coffee from erupting all over you while you're driving. So if you're looking for a mug to take on the road with you, the Move Mug is probably the right choice for you. And if you're looking for a mug to just throw in your backpack or you really love your AeroPress and would love to have a mug that's compatible with it, the Everywhere might be the right choice for you. Either way, they're both really quality mugs and the choice is yours.
