The KR1403 is a trusted and reliable grinder offered by Ditting, and is an optimal choice wherever fast and uniform grinding is necessary. At its core, the KR1403 offers superior performance as a retail bag grinder. With its spring-loaded bag clamp and chute knocker and its vibrating steel shaker plate, the KR1203 ensures that all ground coffee lands in the chosen receptacle, be it a bag, bin, or dosing cup for when smaller amounts of coffee are needed.

Adjusting the Grind Setting

More Than Qualified

Capable of grinding up to 100 pounds of coffee per day thanks to its massive 140mm wear-resistant steel burrs, the KR1403 can effortlessly handle the volume of high-volume cafes, retail settings, and roasteries. While generally used to grind into bags for customers, smaller doses for batch-brewing, pour overs, and even espresso aren’t out of the question, largely in part to the 1403’s stepless adjustment and a grind range stretching all the way from 200 to 1,100 microns. While active cooling by fans is not applied, the 140mm steel burrs and 3-phase motors ensure that heat transfer to the coffee is imperceptible.

While boasting a more powerful motor and the ability to grind nearly twice as much as Ditting's 1203 model, the KR1403 uses the same high-quality, metal components and comes in at the exact same weight and size as its sibling. The KR1403 sits at just 10 inches in width, 9.5 inches in depth, and 25 inches in height (including the built-in bean hopper). Combine these dimensions with a sleek exterior, and the KR1403 will sit comfortably in any setting, be it a crowded cafe or a spacious roasting facility.
