Rated 5 out of 5 by from It fits Finally, a small affordable thermometer that actually fits in the steam holes in my "gooseneck pour-over kettle". I  couldn't find one in ANY store.  It takes about  3-5 seconds to read the accurate temperature, and once it's reached that temp, it instantly keeps up. I've tried this in both a Bonavita and Hario kettle, and although the fit is not snug, it still gives me the peace of mind that my brewing water is a legitimate heat. Not to mention keeping my brewing More consistant than ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great thermometer! This is an amazing thermometer. I do not use it daily, however, I do use this for measuring temperature for making green and white tea that brews at lower temperatures as well as when making siphon coffee when I need a reliable and fast temperature reading. The thermometer acts quickly, it is small, the probe fits into the vent hole of my Hario kettle and is easy to use. It is affordable and a well made product. Other than brewing tea and coffee, I use it for many different tasks while cooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and Reasonably Priced Thermometer It takes a few seconds to 'lock in' but determines the temperature quite quickly and appears to be very accurate (although I didn't test that). Simple to use.
