Hey, guys, It's Ragan from Prima Coffee, and we are out here at Coffee Fest, Louisville 2023. So let's see what's going on.

We're just excited to be here and excited to be working with Prima because you guys have set us up with some crazy, awesome gear. You guys are legends.

We love to see some of our other customers that are close here. You know, Deeper Roots has been a customer of ours for quite a long time, so it's good to see just familiar faces.
Ragan
I know you all partner with a lot of different coffee brands. What do you like about that?

Everyone does coffee in a different way. They have like their own personality with their brands and their shops. There's like a lot of variety in it, not everybody's doing the same thing, so I think that's pretty cool. So we get to kind of provide a canvas for their brands to stand out, so it's a lot of fun.
Ragan
I also heard that you guys recently purchased a 1403. Can you tell us a little bit about how that's going for you?

So we love it. It just took the place of our Bunn, which was awesome. It didn't need a bigger footprint. And now we're we're grinding coffee at record speed. Like they literally thought something was wrong the first time they ground a bag because they *errr* and it stopped they thought they had broken it and it was just already done. So it's making us so much more efficient.

And what do you want people to know about deeper roots?

What do I want people to know about Deeper Roots? That's such a great question. I guess I want people to know a lot of the things that you already kind of assume about coffee roasters. We're looking for equitable partnerships that start at the farm and go all the way to our baristas and our customers. But then also we're just like a bunch of people that really like coffee and really like working in it. And I think that that translates to like meaningful conversations and relationships that start at places like this.

I think Coffee Fest is that is a type of event that is the way that you can, you know, meet new people, enhance our product.

We believe life happens around a drink. And so we want to just see more people connecting with others.
Hos Coffee
Hos, roasting is about coffee, conversations and community. I think we all are hungry for community. Great conduit for that is specialty coffee. There's a lot to talk about, you know, So grab a cup and talk about it.
