Home Brewing Q&A

An essential piece to any brewing set-up, a scale helps with precision and consistency, offering much more accuracy than measuring by volume. In fact, if you were to grind one cup of coffee beans, you would not end up with exactly one cup of ground coffee. Depending on the size of your coffee beans, or ground coffee, the pockets of air between them will either increase or decrease. Extremely fine grounds will take up less volume than coarse grounds or whole beans. Thus, we have gone through and found our favorite scales on the market. Take a look and find out which one is best for you.
