First created in about 1910, and redesigned in the 60s, the Cona Coffee Machine is a well-known siphon brewer, especially so in the specialty coffee community. Classically, Cona siphon brewers would use an all-glass draining rod for filtering out coffee grounds. Although they are not as popular these days, they still are a great alternative to paper, metal, and cloth filters, offering a much easier clean-up and a uniquely complex and full-bodied cup of coffee.
