Dual Boilers
Where there’s a need to make back-to-back milk-based drinks and maintain fine-tuned control over brewing temperature and steam pressure, dual boiler espresso machines do the job best. The Lucca A53 features a very large 2.5L steam boiler and 0.45L brew boiler, both able to be operated simultaneously and almost continuously without waiting on temperature and pressure recovery. Add a Fluid-O-Tech rotary vane pump to the mix, and you have a fully commercialized single group espresso machine in an incredibly small and efficient package.

The Lucca A53 Direct Plumb is designed for a direct connection to a water line and pump/accumulator system, allowing you to craft drinks continuously without the need to refill a water reservoir. An optional drain kit is also available if you’d like to plumb the drain tray out into an open drain or a jug. Because of these capabilities and the inclusion of a rotary pump and a large 2.5L boiler, Lucca espresso machines are an increasingly popular choice for low to mid-volume commercial applications.
Volumetric Programming
In demanding commercial environments small and large, efficiency in barflow is paramount. Volumetric programming allows the user to program up to 2 shot profiles for precise water volume output, greatly increasing consistency and allowing the barista to perform other tasks during the shot cycle. Once programmed, espresso can be brewed with one touch of a button, negating the need to track output volume and manually stop the shot at the necessary time.
If you're looking for some great accessories, the LUCCA A53 Direct Plumb is compatible with the Luminaire Shot Timer for automatic brew time tracking with every shot, as well as the IKAPE 53.3mm Calibrated Tamper. We also recommend keeping 1-2 extra La Spaziale group gaskets on hand for the future!
