Built For Professional Quality Grinds
Producing consistent coffee grounds isn’t an easy task, but the Orphan Espresso LIDO 3 proves that it’s definitely not impossible. Using durable but lightweight materials like BPA-free plastic, cast aluminum, and stainless steel, they put together a hand grinder that focuses on quality results without breaking the bank. The 48 mm Swiss-made conical steel burrs make relatively quick work of anything from a double espresso dose to enough beans for a large Chemex brew, and the dual brass bearings securing the axle make sure that burr wobble won’t get in the way of you getting the consistency you need.
Ready To Travel When You Are
A lot of hand mills could be called travel-friendly, but few are designed with that feature in mind as specifically as the LIDO 3. Its rubberized handle can be folded in over the body of the grinder to store away snugly in the included neoprene carrying case, which also has spots to bring along the maintenance and cleaning tools should the need arise. And, thanks to those durable materials it’s made from, you can have confidence that your grinder will get to its destination safely.
Made For However You Brew
The LIDO 3 is a full-range hand grinder, which means that you can grind from Turksih or espresso coffee all the way to french press and cold brew. Its dual ring adjustment on the body is stepless so you’ll never be limited to predetermined settings, giving you precise control over your grind size and letting you fine tune your brews to perfection. Just loosen the top ring that locks your grind setting in place and adjust finer or coarser with the bottom adjustment ring, then tighten down that top ring again to lock your grind size into place.

Comparison Of Premium Hand Grinders
The ascension of the grinder to its status as the most crucial piece of brewing gear is well deserved. More than anything else the grinder has the potential to make, or severely limit the flavor quality of brewed coffee.
