If you want the freshest-tasting coffee possible, then air is your enemy. More specifically, oxygen can attack your beans, causing all the delicious flavors to become muted or worse - rancid. By removing air and locking it out, the Airscape container can help keep your beans tasting their best for as long as possible. A patented inner lid forces air away from your beans, then locks in place to keep air out. As an extra measure of prevention, the outer lid also has a one-way valve to keep air from creeping back in. The container is made of stainless steel, so it is both sturdy and resistant to the buildup of off-flavors. This Airscape model has a 32 oz. volume, which holds a bit over one half pound of whole beans. It's also great for loose leaf teas, spices, and other dry goods that will benefit from being locked away from the open air.
