Premium Grinds Quality
For people who are ready to dive headlong into brewing exceptional coffee at home there's no investment that will have a bigger impact on your brewing potential than the grinder you choose. While oftentimes premium grinds come with a premium price tag, Timemore's Chestnut C2 hand grinder is here to prove itself as the exception to the rule. Featuring the same 38 millimeter stainless steel conical burr set, dual bearing stability, and stepped grind adjustment that you'll find in any of their other high quality hand grinders, the C2 incorporates PCTG plastic into the build where you would find some of the metal or wooden parts on other grinders. This plastic cuts costs while still providing sturdy build quality internally and, in the case of the crank pommel, a comfortable grip that'll feel just as quality as the brews you're able to achieve with this compact hand mill.
Repeatable Consistency
Timemore uses a stepped grind adjustment to make finding and returning to your favorite grind settings simple—just tighten the grind adjustment down fully to find the zero point and then count the number of clicks it takes to get to where you’re going. The C2 offers a full grind range for filter coffee methods, giving you the ability to grind for very fine drip, all the way up to coarser grinds meant for large Chemex brews or full immersion brews like french press. You can expect to find Fine grinds in the 6–12 click range, Medium grinds from 13–24 clicks, and Coarse grinds at 24+ clicks.
