Recipe:

  • Coffee dose: 200g
  • Water Weight: 2000g
  • Grind Size: Coarse
  • Water Temp: 110F

Before you begin brewing, you need to make sure your Ground Control settings are ready. First, you'll want to set your brewing temperature to 110°F. If your Ground Control has been used for batch brewing hot coffee, bringing the temperature down can be a long process. To speed it up, run the Quick Rinse cycle a few times until you reach the desired temperature.

Step 1

Next, you'll need increase your stir time to 99 seconds and input the recipe. To do this, you first need to press Settings, Add/Edit Recipes, and Add Standard Recipe. From there you will name the recipe and add the brewing parameters as stated below.

Step 2

Cycles: Brew Time (secs) Volume (ml) Vacuum Time (secs)
Cycle 1 141 925 100
Cycle 2 28 825 120
Cycle 3 11 250 110

Now that everything is set to go, you can add your filter, pour in your 200 grams of coffee, and lock in your basket to brew. This recipe brews at a 1:10 ratio yielding 2L of cold brew at the end of the cycles.

Step 3

Lastly, select your saved recipe and press brew! In approximately 8 minutes you'll have delicious cold brew ready to chill and serve!
