Hario Switch Brewing Guide
The Hario V60's 60 degree cone angle and swirling ribs is well known among the coffee community, as it's been producing delicious pour overs for nearly two decades. However, Hario wanted to take that design to the next level, and with that the Hario Switch was born. The Switch offers up the ability to brew how you want, when you want, providing options for both pour over, immersion, or a little of both.

Recipe:
- Coffee dose: 20g
- Water Weight: 300g
- Grind Size: Medium
- Water Temp: 211F
Begin by ensuring your switch is flipped up in the closed position and prepping your filter by giving it a good rinse to prevent any of the paper flavor from infilterating your coffee. Pour 20 grams of coffee into the brewer.
Step 1
Pour 80 grams of water to pre-wet the coffee and allow to bloom for 45 seconds. Swirl.
Step 2
At 45 seconds flip the swich and let the drawdown begin.
Step 3
Pour 110 grams of water continuously in a high and slow manner until you reach 190 grams total, twirl, and wait approximately 1 minute.
Step 4
Pour your last pour of 110 grams of water at 1:45, and give it a final spin. Your brew should finish draining around 3:45. Serve and enjoy
