Boost your coffee's flavor and save money on every batch by using a UFO Spray Head from Litmus Coffee Labs. This model is designed to work with most Fetco batch brewers using Cascading Spray Domes.
With a UFO Spray Head, your cafe can enjoy higher extraction and more even saturation in every brew. The UFO is designed for improved water distribution from edge to edge in your brewing basket. As a result, you can use less ground coffee per batch and still have excellent flavor, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars per year.
In our testing, we saw between a 1-2% increase in extraction with the UFO compared to the stock Cascading Spray Dome, and we were able to reduce our dry coffee dose up to 5-8 grams while maintaining excellent flavor quality. In a cafe setting, that reduction could lead to some serious savings: a reduction of 5 grams per batch could mean a reduction of 50 lbs or more per year of coffee costs!
The UFO Spray Head for Fetco brewers is compatible with most 1-2 gallon Fetco Extractor, Extractor V+, and XTS brewers. To check compatibility, measure your Cascading Spray Dome's diameter - it should measure about 2 inches. Fetco Installing Instructions
- Remove Cascading Spray Dome from brewing head, clean if necessary.
- Align the four magnets above the four pegs inside the UFO spray head.
- Rotate the Cascading Spray Dome clockwise until the notch adjacent to each magnet slots into a peg in the UFO.
- Firmly press on one magnet at a time until the notch audibly clicks into the UFO peg.
- Repeat until all four notches are locked in place.
- Place the Cascading Spray Dome and UFO back into the brewing head.
- All done, time to brew some coffee!
