When used in conjuction with calcium chloride, potassium bicarbonate can aid in accentuating bright, fruity and floral flavors as well as bringing acidity to the forefront of your brew. Using the Lotus potassium bicarbonate solution can add a sharp and pleasant finish to your lighly roasted coffees. One drop of the Lotus potassium bicarbonate concentrate is equal to 5 parts per million (PPM) in the Lotus 450mL mixing bottle. We recommend using distilled water or water that has undergone reverse osmosis treatment for the best results.
