Video Overview | Third Wave Water Carboy Mixer & 5 Gallon Sticks
Transcript
Hey guys, it's Ragan from Prima Coffee, and today, we're going to check out Third Wave Water's 5 Gallon Sticks and their Carboy Mixer. Third Wave Water's 5 Gallon Sticks are the same formula that we've come to know and love from Third Wave. They produce a SCA-approved water profile and are a breeze to use. The difference between the Third Wave 5 Gallon Sticks is that they allow you to optimize more water at once. So all you're going to need to do is get a 5-gallon carboy, filled with either distilled or reverse osmosis water, open up the pack, either classic profile or espresso profile. There are 12 sticks inside of each pack. Rip open the packet, and pour it into the carboy. Once you've done that, that is where the Carboy Mixer comes into play. It's about 20 inches long and has a metal rod going through it that allows it to fit perfectly at the end of a drill. It has two plastic fins on the other end that close up to become narrow enough to fit inside the carboy. And once they hit the bottom, they spread out to two fins, and once you turn on the drill, it does a great job of mixing everything together and having the minerals dissolve into the water. Now, with Third Wave Water's new 5 Gallon Sticks, you can now optimize more water at once.
