The path of specialty coffee from the farm to the cup is a long journey filled with care and attention to detail. We think that it only makes sense to let the journey end in a cup that communicates the same degree of quality and craftsmanship as your coffee. That's why we're happy to offer Ancap's porcelain cup line. If we're the coffee geeks, Ancap is the porcelain geeks, it's what they do and have been doing for over 50 years. All of their porcelain is produced just outside of Verona, Italy and is comprised of only the finest raw Kaolin, Feldspar, and Quartz. These fine ingredients are fired at 2,570°F resulting in a dense white porcelain whose quality you can both see and feel. Partner the quality with the egg-shell bottom design and you have a porcelain coffee cup that excels in both presentation and performance.

The Verona line is Ancap's most popular style, showcasing a classic bowl design in 8 different size options.

Ancap

Ancap is an Italian porcelain manufacturer that has focused on producing pure porcelain for over 50 years. They use high quality raw ingredients and a firing temperature of 2552°F to create durable porcelain in dense, minimal form. It is this fundamental commitment to the quality of their porcelain that allows them to produce cups that hit a perfect balance between function and style, resulting in elegant cups for everyday use. All cups are produced at their factory located on the outskirts of Verona. We are happy to offer Ancap's cups and saucers in a number of styles, sizes, and color variations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great latte cups Great cups for lattes. I was looking for latte cups with a nice wide top, so I can work on my currently remedial latte art skills. These are the same ones used in many of my favorite coffee shops, and are very high quality. The only thing I don't like is that my finger always gets stuck in the handle because the hole is too small. It happened to my wife this morning too, and she's quite petite, so I think it probably is just the way these cups are. I'd give them 5 stars otherwise, but it's annoying enough to go down to 4, since I notice it every single time. Still great cups though, and I'd buy them again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size, shape and quality Like the size and shape of these cups. The quality seems to be very good. They clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher. I purchased the small and large cappuccino cups and the handles were smaller than I've had on other cups/mugs. I'm can't really get my index finger into the hole past my first knuckle on the small and just barely can on the large. Looking into this more, it seems that this is actually as designed; I think the handle is meant to be be pinched with the thumb and index finger and supported with the middle finger as opposed to hooking one or more finger into the handle. This takes a bit of getting used to, but works just fine. Ordered a few to test and then went back for more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Cups for many reasons. I searched all over the internet looking for just the right size and look for latte cups. We actually make cappuccino every morning and we have a really good machine. My husband wanted new cups for Christmas, and after much research I settled on these, knowing he is picky. He LOVED them on the spot, as did I. They are a whiter white than what we had, and a perfect size and shape. They keep the drink warm, but as some other cups in the past, they don't absorb the heat, and burn our hands. We love the simplicity and elegance and find ourselves serving more lattes to guests to show off our cups. My husband is into latte art and is getting better every day with our new cups. I'm a food blogger, and can't wait to share with my readers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from d'Ancap latte cup and saucer d'Ancap makes a solid porcelain cup and saucer set. The latte set is very elegant looking. The cups are a little heavy when filled. I was looking for a heavy cup. This is a low cup with the inside bottom that is rounded. The cup handle has a small hole for the finger. It is tight for my man finger. Women say it is perfect for their finger. Prima-coffee.com processed my order quickly and professionally. The box that the set was in was put inside another box with peanuts ( foam ) for protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best cups for a Coffee Bar I was looking for something with style and a European touch as that is my Coffee Bars theme. Yet, the cups needed to be good to work with for Baristas and be comfortable to handle by guests. These absolutely do the job. Guests cradle them in their hands and thickness is just right for Espresso Drinks. They are pricy but worth it. The only concern I have is that they are too pretty and will likely get legs once the patio season starts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An almost perfect product These cups do exactly what they promised. They keep your cappuccino hot while exuding European sophistication. The glaze is flawless. The cups have "heft" without feeling clumsy. When paired with the hand painted saucers they beg to be drunk from. They are also very reasonably priced given their quality. I expect to enjoy them for a long time. Also, shipping was fast and the product arrived without damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee mug This is a great coffee cup -- what else can I say. I'm drinking some Chemex-Filtered coffee out of it right now. These have a solid weight and a nice wide, short design (a bit wider and shorter than it might appear in the photo.) I grabbed a Verona Jumbo Latte (16oz). I also have their "Classico" Mug (10oz). I wish they'd make a larger version of the taller "Favorita" cup at ~14oz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great latte cups!!! Bought two sets of latte cups and saucers (12 oz) and absolutely love them. Unfortunately one of the saucers arrived broken and a cup was scratched but Prima's customer service was absolutely awesome and sent replacements right away. The cups are of very good quality and priced very competitively. Highly recommended for any latte lover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I ordered these cups one for me and one for my coffee buddy. We visit a coffee house every Friday rather than taking our normal 45 min. walk. Just need a break like our moms used to having coffee with friends. The only flaw would be that the handle could be easier to insert a finger into. It's a bit small for such a large cup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely and functional Bought four of the 6.1 oz. cappuccino cups and saucers. They are just the right size for my morning cappa's an are a joy to use: beautiful to look at, comfortable and solid to hold, retain heat well and appear to be super-durable. Pretty much the perfect cappuccino cups.
