Breville’s proprietary ThemoJet heating system heats only the amount of water necessary to perform the next action, allowing the machine to heat up from a cold start in only 3 seconds. This means your machine needs no warm up time and will be ready to brew or steam before you can even start grinding your coffee. When the brew process is initiated, the Bambino’s vibratory pump will automatically infuse the grounds with a low pressure pre-infusion, followed by a full 9 bar extraction with water at 200F. An internal PID temperature control system ensures that brew temperatures remain stable and consistent brew to brew, allowing you to extract your coffee the same way each time. When you’re ready to steam milk, simply press the steam button and wait 3 seconds. The Bambino’s manual steam wand takes more time to heat milk than larger machines, but your patience will pay off with decadent micro-foam, perfect for a latte, flat white or cappuccino. Hot water is dispensed through the steam wand when needed, allowing for water-based drinks like americanos. Behind the machine is a removable 47oz water reservoir, able to supply the machine with brewing and steaming water for up to a week.
