A Trusted Workhorse

Founded in 1927, La Marzocco has been one of the most trusted names in espresso for almost a century. Many of the best-known cafes and roasteries in the country choose La Marzocco espresso machines, and for very good reason. With its crisp, clean lines and straightforward operation, the Linea Classic has been a tried-and-true countertop staple for over 30 years, yet it remained largely unchanged during that time. All of that is now changing with the release of the Linea Classic S EE and the upgrades that come with it.

New Features, Same Reliability

The La Marzocco Linea Classic S EE still makes use of dual boilers for optimized espresso brewing and milk steaming, but a dual PID now gives baristas the ability to control the dual boilers electronically and quickly. Saturated groups, with their constant water circulation, ensure thermal stability is never sacrificed, even in the busiest cafe. These features are controlled by new, updated push buttons that offer better tactile feedback. One of the most welcomed new features to the Linea Classic S EE is a half-turn steam knob, which requires less movement by the barista to reach full steaming power, reducing the risk of wrist fatigue and injury over long periods of time.

Pro App Compatible

La Marzocco has been taking tremendous steps forward with their Pro App, and the Linea Classic S EE is entirely capable of utilizing these updates. The Pro App allows baristas to connect directly with the machine in order to make quick changes to a wide array of controls right from their phone or tablet. Just a few of the things that can be changed with the Pro App are the coffee and steam boiler temperatures and setting sleep and wake times for the machine. The Pro App is constantly being updated by La Marzocco, which means that new features will be available without the hassle of removing old hardware and replacing it with updated components.
