Mazzer Major V Automatic Flat Burr Espresso Grinder
A Well-Known Name
The name "Mazzer" has been synonymous with quality espresso grinders for decades, always aiming to produce high quality machines for the commercial environment. By introducing modern refinements to one of their most popular machines (the Major), Mazzer has released what is sure to be a new powerhouse: the Major V Automatic. Ideal wherever consistent, swift espresso is needed, Mazzer has made certain that the Major V Automatic is capable of offering a smooth, user-friendly experience. From the newly designed adjustment collar, to its 83mm flat burrs, to a more contemporary exterior, the Major V Automatic is guaranteed to deliver in medium and high-volume environments.
Control Your Dose
Utilizing 83mm flat burrs spinning at 1600 RPM and a large dosing chamber, Mazzer has proven that particle uniformity and low retention is essential to the Major V Automatic’s performance. This system consists of a updated dosing chamber that improves on the timer configuration found on previous models by introducing an automated mode that will fill the dosing chamber after 12 doses have been dispensed. However, a manual switch on the side in still present if more espresso is needed. Also found on the outer shell of the dosing chamber is a fixed, aluminum tamper for quick workflow and ease-of-use.
Added Performance Features
The Major V Automatic’s stepless, micrometrical, removable collar allows for smooth adjustments to the grinder while simplifying the dial-in process and maintaining the current grind setting when cleaning the burrs. New to the Major V Automatic is the ability to track daily and total dose counts, a maintenance schedule, and programmable service alerts, letting you know when its time to swap out your burrs. The Major V automatic also offers 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm fork spacers to accommodate any portafilter, and dual fans to reduce heat transfer, which eliminates the need to adjust grind settings during peak hours.
