What's in the Box
- Option-O Lagom Casa Conical Burr Coffee Grinder (65CL burrs)
- Magnetic Grounds Catch
- Power Cord
Same Style, Bigger Burrs
The Lagom Casa, the latest addition to the Option-O lineup, has gotten an upgrade. While maintaining its physical design, positioned between the Lagom Mini and the Lagom P64, it's heavier and more robust than the Lagom Mini but slim and sleek enough to maintain a small footprint for your home coffee bar. It features a powerful motor for faster grinding and greater versatility, direct bean loading without removing the lid, a calibratable zero, a chute knocker with a convenient push button, a static reducer to ensure a clean grind, and most importantly, new Mizen 65CL Conical Burrs.
Maximum Grind Uniformity & Enhanced Flavor
Like their smaller counterpart, the Mizen 65CL are an omni-purpose burr but with an all-new geometry aimed to achieve faster grind times and enhanced flavor profiles. Designed with flavor in mind, the 65CL burrs seek to deliver a beautiful balance of body, acidity and complexity to your espresso and a balanced clarity and complexity to your pour overs. These conical burrs were also designed for cross-compatibility between the 48mm and 65mm variants.
Low Retention Design
Like all Option-O grinders, the Lagom Casa is designed for minimal retention. According to Option-O, the Casa boasts an average dynamic retention of less than 0.1g—practically nothing. This means users can adjust the grind size without needing to purge much (if any) coffee to clear out old grounds, reducing waste and allowing for faster dialing-in. Additionally, the Casa is equipped with a built-in chute knocker with a push-button and a static-reducing system, both of which help minimize retention and mess.
