After the water moves through the carbon pre-filter, Reverse Osmosis (RO) removes up to 97% of the water's Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) using a semi-permeable membrane. After the RO process, a balance of minerals is dissolved into the RO water at roughly 40-70ppm with 75% calcium and 25% magnesium.
