Awesome Machine!

Recently got the Silvia and a Baratza Sette 270 from prima. Great combo for espresso and I'm loving them both. Prima was excellent to work with and gave me a great deal with excellent customer service. Highly recommend! The Silvia has been a lot of fun to figure out, I'm a first time espresso machine owner. After a few days I'm already making decent espresso and frothing microfoam. Excited to continue perfecting the skill.

Love My Silvia

I decided to upgrade from my Mypressi to a "real" espresso maker (though the Mypressi is awesome for what it does). åÊHowever, it was time. åÊI did quite a bit of research and got lots of help from Chris at Prima Coffee as well in thinking through the best machine for my needs. åÊI love espresso, but am more of a pragmatist. åÊThat is, I don't need a spectacularishis dual-boiler awesome machine (though would be fun) but I also don't want to waste money on a machine I will regret buying. This led me to the Siliva which is priced just at what I was willing to spend, but not completely out of range. åÊ I've only used it a week or so, but am pretty excited by the results. åÊI'd seen online something about issues with milk steaming and I'm no expert, but I found it to steam to the specs I needed (mind you, I'm not pouring latte art) and offer a great latte option. I'm still learning to pull great shots on it, but I scored a beautiful one yesterday with some PTs Konga Yirgacheffe that was one of the fruitiest shots I've ever tasted. Overall, I am more pleased after purchasing it than I was even before.

Should be 5-Stars, but...

I am completely satisfied with the actual products I purchased. I have nothing but nice things to say about the products. 100% satisfied on that end. However, the reason why this is only four stars and not five is because I had to drive about an hour to go pick up my machine due to an address error. So, Prima delivered everything but the machine, which came super-quick (two days, I think). But, whoever was the distributor of the machine got my address wrong marking down a "B" instead of a "D". All in all, I am satisfied. But I was a bit miffed about having to take an hour of my day to go pick up the machine due to a simple clerical error. To resolve this issue, I would like to suggest that Prima begin using the NATO phonetic alphabet when communicating over the phone. This is a universal system that was specifically designed to eliminate confusion over voice communication, ensuring accuracy and efficacy. Strongly encourage your affiliates to use it as well, especially if you are relying on those parties to complete your orders. Respectfully, David R. Anderson
