Chris here with Prima Coffee Equipment. Today we're taking a look at Hario's Electric Buono pouring kettle. Electric Buono is essentially Hario's classic Buono pouring kettle, with an electric base that allows you to heat it up really conveniently. This base here is activated by a little on/off switch that automatically shuts off once your water's reached boiling.
Has a nicely fitting lid that won't fall off while your brewing, and inside you can see there's a max fill line. This holds about .8 liters of water. The handle is a molded plastic, but it's about as comfortable as its predecessor. It's a nice wide kettle, which feels really nice in the hand as you pour. You get a nice, slow, steady drip or something a bit faster. Offers really great control for most pour-over methods.
It's designed and styled to go along with the V60 line, but also works with Kalita, Beehouse - anything really that needs that slow, steady flow rate.
