Hi, I'm Steve with Prima Coffee and today, we're going to talk about the standard water test kit from National Testing Laboratories. ♪ [music] ♪ As you likely know, water quality is everything for beverage quality, whether you have a cafe and you're serving your customers, or you're just trying to get the best-tasting coffee in your home. And water treatment is the most impactful way to produce high-quality water. This kit will help you identify all the contaminants and impurities in your water. And then you can take steps to remove those so that the coffee and the tea or the beer that you're brewing will taste like you want it to taste. So this test identifies tons of contaminants including 20 metals, 7 inorganic compounds, 4 physical properties, 16 disinfectants or disinfected by-products, and 47 volatile organic compounds, all of which may be getting in the way of the taste of your coffees and your teas. There are five steps to getting this kit ready and sending it out. We do recommend that you read the directions all the way through first though because there are a couple of little things like removing the aerator from your faucet that are important to making sure you do this correctly. I'll go ahead and run through the steps. The first is just to make sure that you freeze this ice pack. This kit does need to be shipped cold and arrive cold at the laboratory for the most accurate results. The second step is to go ahead and fill all of the vials here and these two bottles. You will fill the vials all the way to the top, and you will fill these bottles to their shoulder. Make sure that you do not over tighten the lid. The third step is the only test you're going to run at home. And that is the chlorine test. So there are two chlorine tests in this little baggie that comes with the kit. And there is a card in here to help you decipher those results so that you can write them on the form that you send in. Those results will then be included on your final test results. So once you've filled all of the vials with water, and you completed the chlorine tests and the form here, you're ready to go ahead and put everything back into the Styrofoam box and ship it out. It needs to be shipped one day or today because it needs to arrive cold. And again, this needs to be frozen when you send it. All of these has a place inside of the box. And to help you with that, there's a diagram on the back of the instructions. So it should take about two weeks for you to receive the results. You'll receive an email from National Testing Laboratories, and Prima will receive that email as well. And that will just allow us to be in the know so that if you would like us to provide you with a treatment plan, we can do that. So that is the city check standard water test kit from National Testing Laboratories. Like I said before, water quality is everything for beverage quality, and this kit will just help you identify all the contaminants in your water so that you can remove them.
