Hey, I'm Steve with Prima Coffee and today we're going to take a look at this Third Wave Water TDS meter. So this is a very simple TDS meter. It is basically used to make sure that the RO water or distilled water that you're going to use with those one-gallon mineral packs or five-gallon mineral packs if you're using the larger ones from Third Wave Water are as empty as they're supposed to be so that the TDS is reading zero or very close to so that when you put those packs in, you get the perfect coffee water. You can also use this if you're trying to dial in your water with a Peak Water Pitcher or a BWT system to make sure that you do have the exact amount of minerals that you want in your water. The operation of this is really simple. All you need to do is turn it on and put it into a glass of whatever water you are trying to test and the reading is almost immediate. The package will tell you 10 to 30 seconds but we're seeing it on there already. When you pull it out of the water, it's measuring in real-time so it'll go back to zero. So what you need to do if you want to keep that reading on the screen is to press and hold the Hold button and then when you pull it out, that reading will stay on the screen there. So that's the TDS meter from Third Wave Water. Like I said, they're going to offer a couple extra products this year. This is just one of them.
