Capable & Economic
The Gloria SAE from Astoria is an automatic-volumetric espresso machine with bragging rights. Boasting a high wattage heating element and a large steam boiler, making recovery time virtually nonexistent, the Gloria SAE is a machine that will keep up with your busy cafe or restaurant. Astoria's Gloria SAE offers a number of features and components that make it a superb machine for even the busiest of situations. What's more, it's friendly to both the barista and the wallet.
Equipped with heat exchangers, thermocompensated group heads, and preinfusion technology, the Gloria SAE is a workhorse with versatility and control. But that isn't at the expense of the barista. With volumetric controls and 6 programmable dosing buttons, the barista is free to step back and perform other tasks, like steaming milk for lattes or cappuccinos. And when things get particularly busy, the raised groups and joystick steam wands make quick work even easier.
On Astoria's Gloria SAE, you'll find an electroplated steel frame, so there are no unsightly welding marks to hide. The outer body material also consists of baked enamel steel with painted ABS side panels that are available in black and stainless steel or chrome colorways, guaranteed to fit in with your environment. All of these exterior features come together to resemble something that would have looked at home in a 1960s cafe without being out of place in a modern setting.

Anatomy of Espresso Drinks: A How-To Guide and History of Espresso Drinks
Whether you’re actually sitting at a picturesque Italian cafe or simply visiting your local coffee shop, espresso does an extraordinary job at blending science and history to form a coffee delicacy capable of sparking a new found appreciation for the technique and art that goes into coffee, or even at times, if only for a moment, takes you to the distant land of its origins.
Espresso Machine Maintenance
You and your machine make great espresso; let's keep it that way. Taking care of your espresso equipment will ensure that it lives a long life and always does what it should. Here's your chore list.
Product Maintenance | Gasket Replacement
When it comes to giving your espresso machine a long and happy life on your bar, preventative maintenance is crucial. Regularly replacing worn out group head gaskets is an important part of that maintenance, since the gasket creates a tight seal for your portafilter.
