Hario's classic hand grinder, the Mini Mill Slim, is back again with a few updates. Meet the Mini Slim Plus!

Like the Mini Mill before it, the Mini Slim Plus is a compact ceramic burr hand grinder. It's the perfect size for travel, for camping, even for the office - anywhere you'd want to make just a few cups at a time with a compact and portable hand grinder. The Mini Slim Plus has the same overall form factor as the previous iteration, now with an updated and more durable handle and shaft coupling. Its ceramic burrs are washable and are made to last longer than equivalent steel burrs. The hopper holds around 40 grams of whole beans, and the grinds chamber below holds about 30-40 grams of grounds depending on coarseness.

The new Mini Slim Plus is lovely little grinder as a starter grinder or for travel, and we think you'll love it. If you'd like to look at something a little beefier, also check out Hario's Skerton Plus and Skerton Pro.

Best choice for a grinder

I couldn't be happier with purchasing this grinder. Before this grinder, I had a no name burr grinder that broke after 9 month. The quality of materials, as well of consistency of grind and ease of grind (for a manual) is not matched. I also love the click adjusments for the different brews: both my pour over and aeropress. Sad I waited this long to go for a hario. And at $25, it is really an amazing value for a quality grind.

Too much work

It grinds well but a manual is a lot of work. Bite the bullet and buy an electric.
