From the newly designed digital interface to its 83mm flat burrs, to a more contemporary exterior, the Major V is guaranteed to deliver a desirable experience wherever it sits.
Unparalleled Performance
By combining large, 83mm flat burrs spinning at 1600 RPM and their new Grind Flow Control system, Mazzer has proven that particle uniformity and low retention is essential to the Major V's performance. This system consists of a removable aluminum outlet insert with three interchangeable wire dampers, assisting in mitigating clumping and spraying of the coffee grounds, delivering clean and constant espresso while reducing retention in the grinder. The Major V also offers a three-way adjustment to accommodate any portafilter, and dual fans to reduce heat transfer, which eliminates the need to adjust grind settings during peak hours.
Contemporary & Functional
The Major V's stepless, micrometrical, removable collar allows for smooth adjustments to the grinder while simplifying the dial-in process and maintaining the current grind setting when cleaning the burrs. Further adjustments can be made using the digital interface such the ability to program single, double, and triple doses, grind time adjustment in 1/100 of a second, and the means to set a pause function while grinding for settling coffee in the portafilter. Maintenance alerts, daily grinding statistics, and an integrated time and date tracker can also be found on this large, easy-to-read display.
