Control & Consistency
While Slayer may still be the new kid on the block in terms of commercial espresso, they’ve quickly made a name for themselves. Slayer espresso machines can be found the world over, and their signature form makes them instantly recognizable. With Slayer’s flagship commercial espresso machine, the Espresso V3, you get everything that has made Slayer one of the most sought-after and popular brands for specialty cafes. The Espresso V3 brings control and consistency to the table in ways that can only be found on a Slayer machine.
New Espresso Norms
For years it was thought that a shot of espresso should remain within a specific timeframe — generally, 25-30 seconds. However, with the Espresso V3, the team at Slayer sought to negate that notion and focus on getting the best espresso extractions possible. With their patented needle valve, they did just that. The brew paddle found on each grouphead directly correlates to how wide the opening in the needle valve is, allowing for direct control over the water flow-rate through the bed of espresso. Due to this innovative approach to espresso brewing, grinding finer to allow more surface area of the coffee to come into contact with your water is possible, opening up new flavor profiles. With this, longer pre-infusions and all-around longer shots are possible without the bitterness that would normally be found in higher extracted espresso shots.
High-Volume Capable
The team at Slayer didn’t stop innovating once they integrated their patented needle valve; they made sure to include everything that is needed for a high-volume cafe environment. Inside the Espresso V3, you’ll find independent brewing and steaming boilers for incredible and consistent temperature stability as well as unlimited steaming potential for coratdos, lattes, and cappuccinos. Each one of the commercial groupheads have a resettable shot counter and are rated for 1 million+ cycles. The Slayer Espresso V3 is also highly customizable to suit any environment.

Anatomy of Espresso Drinks: A How-To Guide and History of Espresso Drinks
Whether you’re actually sitting at a picturesque Italian cafe or simply visiting your local coffee shop, espresso does an extraordinary job at blending science and history to form a coffee delicacy capable of sparking a new found appreciation for the technique and art that goes into coffee, or even at times, if only for a moment, takes you to the distant land of its origins.
Espresso Machine Maintenance
You and your machine make great espresso; let's keep it that way. Taking care of your espresso equipment will ensure that it lives a long life and always does what it should. Here's your chore list.
Product Maintenance | Gasket Replacement
When it comes to giving your espresso machine a long and happy life on your bar, preventative maintenance is crucial. Regularly replacing worn out group head gaskets is an important part of that maintenance, since the gasket creates a tight seal for your portafilter.
