Ditting KR1203 Retail Coffee Grinder
What's in the Box
- Ditting KR1203 Retail Coffee Grinder & Hopper
- Grounds tray
Taking the next step up from the KR804 models, Ditting has provided the ideal result for fast, reliable, consistent grinding: the KR1203. The 1203 has quickly become the solution for medium to high-volume cafes that are seeking a uniform, aroma-saving grind without sacrificing speed. Thanks to the integrated shaker plate that helps to settle the grounds when grinding into a bag and a spring-loaded manual knocker, this grinder delivers incredibly low retention for a machine of its size and capacity, making the KR1203 suitable for all commercial applications.
From specialty cafes to gourmet markets to roasteries, the KR1203 is making waves due to its stepless grind adjustment and its ability to produce cups with noticeable clarity, balance, and sweetness. This is largely thanks to the grinder’s tremendous 120mm wear-resistant steel burrs spinning at 1400 RPM. With a lifespan rating of 25,000 pounds and a 1600 watt motor, the KR1203 is more than capable of handling a massive workload, and can do so while churning out an impressive five or more pounds of coffee per minute based on the chosen grind size, all while ensuring that heat transfer to the coffee is negligible.
At Home Anywhere
Due to the high-quality, metal components used by Ditting to craft the KR1203, the grinder weighs in at 88 pounds. However, the machine’s heft is balanced by its compact footprint. The KR1203 sits at just 10 inches in width, 9.5 inches in depth, and 25 inches in height (using the included bean hopper). Combine these dimensions with a sleek exterior, and the KR1203 will look right at home in any setting, be it a crowded cafe or a spacious roasting facility.
